New lift springs are stiff when new, so your truck may sit higher than the advertised 2-inch lift right after installation. This is normal. After 100–500 miles of driving, the springs will settle and drop 0.5–1 inches to reach the stated 2-inch lift. Since our measurement is based on new stock height, your worn factory springs may also make it look higher initially
